MDG for vs 2005 har expired ?!
« on: January 01, 2006, 08:44:51 am »
I've installed MDG integration for VS 2005 today (January 1st), and after installing it and opening VS I received the error message "mdg integration for enterprise architect beta period is expired".

I admit that I foolishly installed the mdg integration for .net (the apparently previous version) previously to the mdg 2005, but I've uninstalled all of Sparx EA and MDG's software (even deleted the folder) and re-installed it all, but I still receive the message.

Was it me ? or did someone forget to mention that the MDG stops working on January 1st, 2006 ?

An update :
The previous message was written in my office, where I tried today to install the MDG.
I've returned to my home, where I've installed both EA 6 & MDG for the vs 2005 this last Friday (December 30th), and tried to open the solution which I've worked on Friday, and to my surprise - I got the same message !!

I've also received the following error message :

We apologise for this confusion.  The current MDG Integration beta has a built-in expiry date of 1/1/2006.  We hope to officially release the MDG Integration product very soon.  Please keep an eye on our site and the Latest Release forum for when the product is officially released.

So is the beta period officially over.  If so, why is it still available for download.  I downloaded it this morning and it doesnt seem to work.  i.e. when i right click stuff in the EA project explorer all i get is "About Enterprise Architect"
