HTML Report Generation

In completing the upgrade from 7.1 to 7.5, I have found that the HTML report generator does not appear to work correctly anymore. I have tried running the generator a large number of times with various configurations of the .css files and cannot succesfully get through a generation sequence.   I have rolled back to 7.1 because the html generation is an important part of my communication strategy and everything is peachy again.

Would be interesting to hear the details what exactly you are trying to do and what has failed and how.
Besidey my criticism about the lack of layout flexibility of the HTML generator it works rock solid here.

Further to this problem, Build 844 is fine. It is Build 845 that seems to have issues with HTML report generation.

I agree that a fair bit more could be done to create effective HTML reports. I am hopeful that they will provide this capability in future versions.

Since you wrote the prior entry (overnight) Build 846 has been release. Please let us know what (if any) effect the new build has.

Hi,

I've got issues with the HTML report generation too.  

We have a large model that we generate on a weekly basis for our stakeholders to view and thats working fine.  However, occassionly we need to generate a html report on a lower level package that contains elements from other packages, and so therefore won't display the elements tagged values and other attributes.  

My question is...  Is there a way we can generate a html report that references elements that that are contained on diagrams?  (Much the same as the RTF template reports on "diagram elements" as opposed to elements contained in packages.)  

Any ideas?  Is there anything in the pipeline for this?

Hope I'm not confusing anyone.
