Diagram Filter not working...
« on: April 23, 2010, 11:19:47 pm »
Hi, I created a diagram filter based on the phase of the element. I actually want to filter all elements that have one of several phases. So I set it up as "One of..." and in the value field I entered 'value1','value2'. However it only filters by the fist value in the list. Is this a bug or am I doing s.th. wrong. Version is 8.0.855.

Thanks,
Michael

The "one of.." functionality definitely works if you choose the set of items from the list that EA gives you when you click on the "..."   prompt on that line in the filter definition panel.

If you do it this way the display then shows the list either in the format you have used, or with double quotes, or with no quotes - doesn't seem to be consistent, but the filtering certainly works.

Yes, you are doing something wrong.  Just use value1,value2.  (Don't insert the quotes)

Well, EA entered the quotes into that field. But I now removed them and suddenly it works (even so EA added them again when I hit enter).

Thanks,
Michael
