Using https in hyperlinks of artifact notes
« on: November 22, 2010, 07:27:56 pm »
I'm trying to add a hyperlink of type 'Web Site' under Notes (Artifact Properties). EA automatically adds the prefix 'http://'. However, I would like to reference a web site that starts with 'https://'.
I know that I can add a linked document with the proper URL. However, it would be nice to have this option under Notes too.

Thanks, Reto

Try to write the address with https:// header included. It works for me.

When I do that the link ends up in something like http://https://... :(
However, I've found my own workaround: As I'm using the URLs in a virtual document to generate RTF documents. I just edit the link in the RTF document (e.g. by using MS Word) and copy/paste it back into the Notes of my original artifact.
