908 DocGen: Tracing Connectors in BOTH Directions
« on: August 15, 2011, 05:27:55 pm »
Has anyone had any issues with document generation trying to trace connectors in both directions?

I'm currently trying to publish As-Is BPMs with the following links set up:

1. Existing Systems (as requirements, Source) with a dependency on the Activity (BPMN 2.0, Target); and
2. Activity (BPMN2.0, Source) with a realisation to a Limitation (as requirement, Target).

(Yes, Yes, I realise that this probably isn't BPMN/UML best practice but it reflects the sequence in which the information was identifed, and (in theory) should allow publication of the information the business wants to know about their current processes, including problems).

I can reliably publish the Systems links, either as a bulleted list of names or as named headings with descriptions.

Attempts (using connector direction of "Both") to do the same for the limitations seems to only produce repeats of the Activity Name/Description.

Is this a known issue, or is there an obvious thing I'm doing wrong?
