Set up an Oracle ODBC Driver
After you have created an Oracle repository, you can either set up an ODBC DSN to the new database in order for Enterprise Architect to connect to it, or configure Enterprise Architect to use the Oracle OLE DB provider in connection strings to the new database.
Notes:
- For performance reasons, Sparx Systems recommends using Oracle Provider for OLE DB
- Enterprise Architect does not support the 'Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle' driver
Prerequisites
- Install the Oracle DBMS and repository
