Save Diagram Image to File
It is possible to capture a modeling diagram as an image file in your file management system, for later use in - for example - external documents and presentations. You can capture the image in a number of different file formats, including:
- Windows bitmap
- GIF image
- Windows Enhanced Metafile (standard metafile)
- Windows Placeable Metafile (older style metafile)
- PNG format
- JPG
- TGA

On the 'Save As Image' dialog, select the appropriate folder location for the file. |

Notes
- The system clips the image size to the smallest bounding rectangle that encompasses all diagram elements
- You can scale the size of the saved (bitmap) image upwards or downwards, using the option on the 'Diagram' page of the 'Preferences' dialog ('Start > Appearance > Preferences > Preferences > Diagram')
- You can also enable and disable Diagram Frames on the images that you capture of a diagram, on the same page of the 'Preferences' dialog
- By deselecting the 'Printable' option on an element on a diagram, you can omit that element from the diagram image copied to file
