Switch Between Views
When there are a number of open views available in the Diagram View (such as separate diagrams, editors and the Model Search screen), you can review them and switch between them using the View Tab Switcher.

Selecting a different view |
The View Tab Switcher lists the currently open views, in order of most recently activated to least recently activated; the selection cursor is on the name of the view that was activated just before the currently active one. Details of the selected view are displayed on the right hand side of the screen, and include:

Activating a view |
To activate a view in the Diagram View, either release the or press the ; alternatively, click on the required view. Activating a view moves it to the top of the 'Active Views' list, whereas closing a view removes it from the list completely. |
Notes
- One of the strengths of Enterprise Architect is that you can work in one of the central views (the 'active' view) and instantly display and edit aspects of your model in one or more of the windows surrounding the view; having completed your review in a window, however, you can quickly switch focus back to the object you were working on in the active view by pressing (effectively )
