Architecture Views and Viewpoints

The Architecture Views and Viewpoints are a useful mechanism to provide stakeholders with relevant and meaningful visualization of the Enterprise Architecture that has been created in the repository. Every stakeholder - or, more commonly, a stakeholder group - will typically have different concerns and interests and so the View and Viewpoint mechanism provides a robust way of ensuring that they get value from the work that has been done to articulate the Enterprise Architecture. Essentially, a View is what you see when 'looking' from a particular standpoint (Viewpoint).
