Project Roles
People associated with a project play one or more roles with respect to a model. The roles represent the disciplines associated with the model and system. They are typically defined as part of a system acquisition or development process. The roles could be names like: Chief Enterprise Architect, Business Analyst, Ux Designer, Product Owner. People can be assigned to a role.

Defined Roles |
Review the Project Roles already defined. The 'Defined Roles' list is available for selection for any element in the model; for example, you can select roles on the 'Project Authors' page of the 'People' dialog, and the Resource Allocation window. You can also specify other roles on these dialogs, but such roles are not added to the 'Defined Roles' list. |

Notes
- Deleting a role has no effect on any Project Author definition having this role; the deleted role becomes a simple text entry in the Project Author definition
- You can transport these role definitions between models, using the 'Settings > Model > Transfer > Export Reference Data' and 'Import Reference Data' ribbon options
