Quick Access Toolbar
The Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) is a handy, customizable toolbar that provides quick access to a set of frequently used commands. By default, the QAT contains buttons for Full Screen view and the Workspace Quick Access panel. Users can also add their own frequently-used commands to this set.
Access
You can find the Quick Access Toolbar at the top left corner of the Enterprise Architect application window. You can also move it to an alternative location below the menu ribbon, so that it is closer to the main view.QAT Menu
Clicking on the QAT's drop down button, , displays the QAT menu.

Customizing the Quick Access Toolbar
There are two ways to add commands to the Quick Access Toolbar.
In the Ribbon, right-click on the command that you want to add to the QAT. From the pop-up menu, choose 'Add to Quick Access Toolbar'.
Alternatively, you can add commands using these steps:
- Click on the QAT's drop-down button , and select 'More Commands'
- Use the pop-up window to add or remove commands from the QAT
Using the Quick Access Toolbar
Once a command has been added to the QAT, it is readily accessible regardless of the menu ribbon that is currently displayed.
