Test connection failed because of an error

When I try to connect MySQL I recieve this error:
"Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Unspecified error".

I've setup all correctly according to the manual.
Test connection of MySQL ODBC drive works (setup according to http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/8.0/projects_and_teams/setupmysqlodbcdriver.html)

I currently use EA version 8.0.856 Corporate and installed MySQL mysql-installer-5.5.24.0.msi

"Test Connection" button is incompatible with "Encrypt connection string", because the button tries the encripted password, not the original.

Try unchecking the Encryption...

according to manual it seems that this option is available if the Test connection works, which is not unfortunately my case. I'm just stuck right on the screen before, I receive the error when I hit the button Test Connection. When I hit OK I receive warning "Invalid Data Source ... Check configuration".
