MDA Transformation

I create PIM and transform it into DDL. Then a set lenght for string column in table. When I try do transform again, in the result all changes in DDL are lost, lenght of string attribute reset to default value. How EA supporting changes within MDA Transformations and what I need for keeping my changes in previously DDL generated model?

A generation always overwrites the old file.

I have no experience with it, but there's an add-in call DBMode offered by Sparx which supports database modeling.
