Loosing "Items Conveyed"

Loosing "Items Conveyed" from "Information Flow" association.  This is happening consistently on only one of about 20 elements in my diagram.  I am able to add the items to the association, but after I close the diagram or exit EA, they are dropped.   >:(

Ideas, suggestions?
