Links not instances

Hello

In v9.3. How can I ensure that only links are created of objects when dragging onto diagrams, not instances?

P.S. Why would I create instances?

Use ctrl-drag and change the default.

Instances are useful where they are useful...

Thanks for that but this does not seem to work. If I do that for a use case for example. The next use case I drag onto a diagram show the link / instance choice dialog again. The default seems to be individual for a UC not for all objects

You can turn that off again in the options of the dialog. It has changed in V10 so I can't tell what it looked like exactly but there is a check-box somewhere inside.

I think that this option should be bound to the diagram type. But it is a global option unfortunately.

Whenever you ctrl-drag an element onto a diagram EA shows a dialog that contains the option.
