License retrieval issue

Afternoon all,

I have a bit of an issue in our corporate enviroment with Sparx EA. . Each license we purchase is per user and gets installed with the user logged on and only works for that user. If that user leaves the company without our knowledge and we can’t extract that license while the user is logged on, we can’t access the license after, thus losing the license. Is there any guidance on being able to recover the license key if this happens.

Just a shot in the dark here...

Do you have a copy of KeyStoreManager.exe?

Our key store is a file on a central server.

Using KeyStoreManager I can select a licence that is in use with a right mouse click and select "Release"

That then releases the licence back into the pool.
