EA Crash with Postgresql project

Hi,
One of my customers needs to move an EA project to a PostgreSQL DB (Linux server).
The DB and tables have been created, ODBC connector installed (psqlodbc_09_03_0210) and configured (as per Sparx instructions), and a connection has been defined with EA.

When connecting from EA, the following pop-up screens come up :
1. Database Connection Error : reopening connection to database
2. Enterprise Architect has experienced a network error and will shut down.

Finally EA shuts down / crashes.

As I successfully set up an EA project on a Linux PostgreSQL DB before, I'm running out of options on getting this one to work.

Any hint on what might be going wrong here?
