Language in element names
« on: March 10, 2015, 12:29:05 am »
Hi,

I work on a project that has to be in Serbian language, so I need element names and notes in Serbian Latin.
But all characters specific to Serbian language get lost  :(
Is there an option that I have missed, because this is starting to be a really big problem.

Thanks

You probably need to change to Jet 4.0 in the settings

Tools|Options|General|Use Jet 4.0 - requires restart

Its really hard to find because while it is on page http://www.sparxsystems.com/resources/
under the heading "Team Modelling and DBMS setup"
the resources (links) are rolled up and not visible.
The heading itself has no associated page and explanation of the links provided.

This is just not good UI design (hello).

Here is the direct link, I cannot find a page where a description of this is provided.

This works fine in a local .eap file. But I still have the same problem when I transfer the project to DBMS.
Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
I use Oracle and connect through Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers

In that case you did something wrong with either the collation in your database of with the driver.

I know EA is rather picky about the database driver for Oracle.

The documentation states that the Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle isn't supported.
