Ea Cloud performance issues

Hi guys,

We have a setup with our EA database server in Oslo, Norway and quite a lot of users in other locations. Users, especially in India and Ukraine, experience very slow response times. It varies during the day, kind of OK in the morning, unacceptable later in the day, e.g 15 seconds to open a property dialog.

Does anybody have any experience with EA Cloud in a similar setup? Any advice in this are will be greatly appreciated :-)

I have used the cloud server to collaborate with users in various places around the world.

The slowest connection I used was the one from here to a shared model hosted in the UK. It wasn't lightning quick, but it was certainly useable. It's fairly easy to set up and should provide an immediate improvement.

I might not have been entirely precise :-)

But we ARE using EA Cloud, and it was a great improvement over just accessing the MySql database over the network. But still, it is too slow to avoid very frustrated users ...

Well, that is true :-)
But EA is still slower than what one can expect (or hope for) ...

I can't suggest any way to improve it beyond the initial setup I'm afraid.
