Recently (864 at least) we have noted that in some, but not all cases, the use of an ampersand (&) in a note results in the text & being output in the generated RTF document?
We also noticed that if two spaces precede the & this doesn't happen.
Bug?

In a note field where the field ends with text it is possible to not have a trailing newline character.
This is great because in a RTF document template the note field can be placed in a table cell without a pesky blank line at the bottom of the cell, or too much white space after a paragraph in normal layout.

But (at least in 864) this does not seem the case if the note finishes with a list.
No matter how often I delete the trailing newline characters they come back.

Bug?

(PS a new note field has no content (not even a new line), but once something ha been entered it is impossible to delete the newline character once everything else is deleted).

I suspect we can consider both issues a bug.
Have you reported them?

This has been fixed and will be found in the next Release of EA. (date unknown)

Speaking of issues with notes and reporting...

Whenever I create a note with a bulleted list (I'm using a Feature element right now) the lists end up numbered when I print them out in a report. If I have multiple elements with bulleted lists the numbers are even consecutive across elements, which is really wrong regardless.

I'm currently using build 863 (while I'm waiting for corp to renew support) but I don't see a release note addressing this specifically; I don't suppose we could get this one fixed at the same time?
