Personal Tasks - where do they go?
« on: May 22, 2015, 05:17:41 pm »
I have a number of tasks in t_task in a repository I've brought over from v9.

However, they don't appear in the Personal Tasks Allocated Work panel.

I even created a new task yesterday - via the Project Tasks panel.  It went into the DB but didn't appear on the Project Tasks or Allocated Work  panel.

What's going on?  How do I get Tasks to show up in the screen?

[edit]OK, I've figured out what's going wrong...  At least partly.  It's a filtering problem.  More later[/edit]

TIA,
Paolo

To see the items in the Personal Tasks window, the tasks should either be owned or assigned to the current user i.e.
On the Task Detail dialog set the field Owner AND/OR Assigned To fields with the current user.

Yes, thanks I had worked that out... However that poses a problem for me.  As I said, I'll explain later.
