Package names
« on: October 01, 2015, 12:32:01 am »
Hi, for the users of our shared, version controlled repository, XMI Filenames are the same as the name of the package.  For older packages, we have the unique number/letter combination that is unique.  It is causing problems because if she names 2 packages with the same name, or renames something to an existing name, an error is thrown.

Is it possible that she has changed a setting somewhere that packages she creates use PACKAGENAME.xml instead of GUID.xml?

If i add a package, its GUID.xml.  If she makes a package, it will take the package name as the xml filename

Under version control, I can see that all of her named files are going under the main folder, whereas everyone elses are going into ea0, ea1, eaB, ...

I think maybe this is a change since we upgraded from EA 10 to EA 12.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
