EA12 - Limited Advanced options

Hi,

I'm using EA12 at a client site in which 4 Architects EA installation is working well, however, mine isn't! I've spoken to the Group IT department who have uninstalled/reinstaleld EA, along with reassigning EA and TOGAF floating licenses, however, my problem continues.

If I right click an element in my EA, the only Advanced option I'm presented with is the "Tagged Value" one. However, everyone else is presented with 5 or 6 options, including the "Use Rectangle Notation" that I desperately wish to use in my diagrams. We've also noticed that I don't have the security tabs under Project.

Given we tried and uninstall/install, my settings seem to have been remembered between this. Should that occur? Is there something in the registry that is causing me problems?

I've sent in an email to the help/support id, but I'm still trying to find out the correct procedure for raising a technical issue for product support.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Carl,

The problem you are probably facing is that you have a limited set of menus and commands.
Go to (in v12.1) View|Perspectives|Menu Sets and check the "complete" option.

In order to raise an issue with support can go to the registered section of this website and look in the left column, down the bottom for the appropriate links.
