View of operations in Class Diagram
« on: February 14, 2002, 08:07:45 am »
Is there any way to change the way that an operation in a class is displayed when looking at a class diagram.  I thought the standard was:

visibility name (parameter-list): return-type-expression {property string}

with parameter-list being: direction name: type = default value

We can enter the direction name and default, but only the type shows up when looking at the diagram and having the name at least would help communication.  If this can't be changed somewhere I would suggest it as an enhancement.  To allow the user to choose how to display it in the diagram.

Thanks,
 Joe

Hi,

If you open the diagram dialog, there is the choice of 'no parameter details', 'type only' or 'fill details'. This selection will apply to all elements on a diagram

Hope this helps
