typedef interpretation in C++ importing

The C++ code I'm trying to reverse engineer contains plenty of typedefs. As far as I can see EA cann't help me. Is this correct ?

A thought that did occur to me was to wonder if the Programming Language Datatypes dialog could be extended so that I could effectively tell EA the synonym of the typedef was to be taken as the same thing as a class I nominate and hence put in relationships based on these definitions.

This would be very helpful !
