Display an OR relationship between 2 associations

I have been evaluating EA for the past three days and am very impressed. However, I cannot find how to display an "Or" relationship between two associations. Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Unfortunately EA does not support this notation at the moment and so far it has not been a very popular request (as you are the first).   However since it is part of the UML specification we will be including it into a future version of EA.  Exactly when this notation will be include is still undecided, at this stage.

Please and display relationships between associations

Hi all,

I have implemented the following in the next update of EA, which should do the trick. This update will be out in a day or two - look for build 479 or higher.

- On a link in a diagram there is now an 'Attach Note or Constraint' context menu item - click on it to attach a constraint
- In the Set Linked Relations dialog that pops up - tick all the relationships in the current diagram that will be part of the note or constraint set
- Mark whether this is a constraint or note
- Press OK - note is created with dotted lines to each memberof the link set
- add expression for Constraint (EA will add { and } characters) or free text for note

Once you have created a note or constraint, you can change the members of the set using the context menu of the Note itself ... there is now a Set Attached Links option if the note has been created as a linked Note or Constraint

You may link 1, 2 or more relations with this method.
