Custom RTF tags option?

Hi,

Another question: What does the "Local Options/General/Allow custom RTF tags in documentation" option actually do? Does it enable me to include RTF tags ({tag}text{/tag}) in e.g. notes?

This subject seems not to be documented in the help or discussed in the forum.

Hi,

Yes it does allow just that. It is not a 'supported' feature, in that we do not actively advocate this manner of marking up notes - as you must be very careful that NO notes in your project contain partial RTF tags (eg. a single "{") that will corrupt the final output.

We have plans to add RTF style notes directly in the next major version of EA ... but some dtaabase changes are reuqired first.
