XMI Import/Export

Hi,

A client of mine had problems importing an XML export of a small EA project.  I assumed the problem was on his end (he's using a tool called Objecteering), but when I tried to import the XML file back into EA, I got an error.

Shouldn't I be able to import an XMI file that was exported from the same EA tool?

Hi,

I thought I'd answer my own question.  During the 'export' ,I had clicked on a nested 'package' node of the project browser, not the 'root node'.  Once I did this, and re-attempted the XMI export, the re-import worked flawlessly.

Chalk this one up to 'user error'...

P.S.  Just downloaded a newer version of EA... those new .html reports are excellent.
