Diagram Font Problems
« on: April 17, 2002, 03:18:59 am »
Sometimes when printing a diagram or exporting to an emf or into rtf documentation there is a problem with the font size meaning that text escapes out of the right of an object even though it is displayed as all being conatined within the object within EA.

This is most noticable on notes.

It is difficult to work around as one has to export the documentation to find out if there is a problem and then go back and change the size of the object and export again to check.

Maybe it's a problem with my fonts?
Any thoughts?

I have this same problem.  Has anyone every resolved this or found a work around?

I think I have a similar problem with the messages in sequence diagrams.  When I shrink to fit on one page for printing, it seems to automatically wrap the sizable message text so that almost all of them are wrapped, even though all it might wrap is the last ")" of the message.

I have a similar problem.

If I print a class diagramm, the font size is too small. The result is, that there is free space beyond the text within a class-box.
It's not a big issue, but a little bit anoying (and the result looks a little bit unprofessional).

I observe that if you maximize your diagram, fix all the annoying font then save your diagram and print, then the text won't run off the border.
I also observe that every time I do maximize and zoom to fit all, the save button is active. This means some change occrus. This never happens before.
