EA 3.50, 550 to 576, 579 upgrade problem
« on: November 18, 2002, 01:56:02 am »
Welcome!

I uninstalled EA 3.50 b550, retarted the system (W2k) and installed EA 3.50 b579.
Now I try to open a project and I get warning:

"DAO.Database [3061]
Too few parameters. Expected 2."

This is shown for every project created in EA 3.50 b550
I cannot edit my project, because it appears this message again and again. What is wrong ??? ?
Is it a problem of EA or my system drivers?
I repaired project files but it didn't help.

Best regards,
ro

Hi,

Build 550 was part ofthe beta release - and there were a couple of minor database changes during the beta cycle that may be causing your problem. I have tried to duplicate the problem here using a model file distributed with build 550, but cannot reproduce the error you describe.

Could you send me a model file that is causing a problem and I will see what needs to be changed to bring it up to date for you,

you can zip it up and email to:

Hi Geoff,
The Jet2.0 configuration was the problem. I turned it on and now the Upgrade wizard seems to be working fine.

thanks
