NT4 installation

we've installed EA under NT4 service pack 6, and are unable to connect to the central MySQL repository using MySQL 3.51 ODBC drivers. We have been able to connect using NT5/Win2K so I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues with NT4.

The problem manifest as soon as I click on the open project button, I get a series of fairly useless error messages, on one machine EA simply aborts, on another machine it eventually starts up but without any data from the MySQL db. I can connect to the database using MySQL Control Centre without a problem.

Any help appreciated TIA
