EA and ATL COM C++

I'm having an issue importing code from a C++ COM ATL project.  There does not seem to be a way to upload the .idl files for the interfaces.  The COM objects show that the object is derived from a vtbl instead of an interface.  I cannot load the interfaces and do it manually.  Does anyone have any experience with this.
