Object in Flow - State

Probably missing something obvious here, but can the state of an object in an activity diagram be set in EA, given that there is an associated statechart with the class?

EA currently does not support setting the state of an object in flow.

A suggested work around has been to use a tagged value of "State" with the appropriate state of the class as the value of the tag. This can be made visible on the diagram by setting the tag feature visibility on.
