Glossary to HTML
« on: January 28, 2003, 08:21:44 am »
Me again.

I notice the HTML export feature exports a 'glossary.htm' to the top level folder of the documentation.  However, it contains simply the word 'glossary'.

I assume it should contain the Glossary.  I've RTFM but can't find out how I make the model's glossary appear in this page (or elsewhere in the export).

Perhaps it's a yet-to-be-implemented feature?  It might explain why the page is produced but it is not linked into the other documentation - though it would be neat if it was!

Regards

Mark

I have got the same problem, and didn't find a solution for it yet. It is possible to export the Glossary (reporting), but since we all work with the HTML output it would be very nice to have the glossary in HTML also!

Is there anybody (EA-team?) who knows more than I/we do?

Thanks in advance,
Erik.

Erik / Mark,

Hi.  One possible immediate solution is if you download our EA-ToolkiT you can generate the Glossary report as long as the EAP file is in the Jet engine format.

In a couple of weeks, EA-RequirementControl can import the glossary contents or merely LINK to it.   This generates the report to RTF, HTML, Printer, ASCII, and now, PDF.   I hope this will be available sometime this month.

You can get both at our web site at http://www.EnterpriseProcessGroup.com.   Hope this helps.

Steve,

Thanks for the thought on this, I'll go check.  My team is also watching EA-RequirementControl with interest.

Mark,

Well, the final stages are in site.   We're just generating all the UP-based documents in various formats, re-checking all menu option, and then we'll release.

Thanks again!!!!
