Metatags in HTML Reoprts
« on: March 05, 2003, 12:53:29 pm »
Has anyone out there come up with a QUICK and EASY way of including Metatags in HTML reports to allow a search engine to locate a specific page(s)?  I am guessing this might be done by tweeking the HTML report template and am hoping someone might have worked it out. What I would like to do is be able to enter the keywords somewhere in the package, object, or diagram properties and have these translated into keywords in the HTML report.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi

To use meta tags in your HTML documentation use a HTML template. At the bottom of the Workspace window, click on the Resources tab. Open the Templates folder, then right click the Web Style Templates object. Select "Create HTML Template". Give your template a name, then click on the Basic Blank option. Insert your meta tags here. Save and Close the template. Next time you are creating HTML documentation, select your template as the style.

Hope this helps.
