Database Upsizing
« on: July 10, 2003, 04:21:05 pm »
Hello,

With the corporate version of EA, is it possible to have a database hold more than one eap file contents? For example, I created an eap file and transferred it to a mysql database. If I want to transfer another eap file, do I have to create another database within the same mysql instance, prepare it and transfer to it or can I use the already existing database under this instance?

I think you'd have to set up another DB in the same MySQL instance.

EA also has the ability to support multiple project root nodes within a single model, which is another way to hold multiple projects in a single database (but you couldn't use model to model transfer in that case).

regards,
Martin.
