XP Home

I have download EA build 618 trial on my laptop. I am running Windows XP Home edition and the diagram we are using is in an Oracle 9i database. I have downloaded and installed the Oracle 9.0 ODBC drivers, but when I try to connect to the database the Oracle 9i driver is not listed. I have also noticed that the SQL Server driver is not listed.

Has anyone found a way around this? I created a DSN using the Oracle driver and then used the Microsoft driver to wrap the DSN from EA, but this caused some errors.

Thank you,
David Freels

You need to download the Oracle 9i client from Oracle.

http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/oracle9i/content.html

This will include the Oracle Provider for OLE DB. nce the client is installed, connect to the Oracle db using this provider.

I have the Oracle client installed, I just didn't have the ODBC driver installed.
