Restrict READ Access of packages and elements?

Hi all,
we try to solve an issue in our model.

We need to restrict the read access for a group of EA users to certain model areas on package and element level.

We know that the EA doesn't have the ability to do this.

That's why we think about to use the VBA interface to customize the security capabilities of the EA.

Does anyone have experience in this area?

We hope you can give us a hint.
