How do you make it show a certain screen when you open a project?

Like in the EA example, the main menu screen shows as soon as you open the project.

Open your diagram and use menu
Diagram - Set as Model Default

how do i create hyperlinks to open a certain model when clicked? i.e. create the navigation links for main menu

i tried "hyperlink" but that asks for the address of a file

If memory serves, drag one diagram onto another. Fill out the resulting dialog to set up the link.
