Template Activity: Bug or Feature?

Hi there,
all of a sudden I have a funny behaviour: when I add a new activity it's been taken from a template activity (one exitsting activity somewhere in the model). Each new activity is cloned from that special one. When I delete the template another activity is taking it's place. So far this concernes Notes anc Version (but I guess all attributes are cloned). Is this a feature and where can I turn it off / locate the template. Or is it a bug?
