Importing Rose XMI into EA

I am using Rational's XDE under Visual Studio to perform UML modelling, but am contrained its lack of configurability when it comes to code generation.
I wish to import my models into EA so I can evaluate EAs code generation capabilities with respect to want I want to achieve.
XDE under visual studio lets me do an XMI export, but the EA import facility cannot see any Datasets in the resulting xml file.
Has anyone tried to perform XDE model to EA conversion? or have any suggestions about how I should proceed?
