Hi,

are you referring to the Use Case estimation of size of the project?

Generally, the estimation method is called "Use Case Points based estimation" or "Use Case Complexity based one". There are several different flavours of the method, one of the commonly used ones is called Karner's after it's author (the method takes into account not only Use Cases, but also Actors and their complexity).
Enterprise Architect allows you to parametrize the estimation formulas by including/excluding the actors, by modifying the Environment and Technical Complexity Factors, their values and weights etc. in order to accommodate virtually any of the common methods.

Hope this helps!
