XMI Import Profile

I gather that the XMI format is fairly flexible (to say the least). There is an XMI file generated from a different product that I would like to import into EA. The XMI contains a lot of different fields and values that don't get imported.

I was just wondering if it was possible to build a custom profile that I could use in conjunction with the import. If so, are there instructions somewhere on how to do this?
