Problems with forum login

G'day folks,

I've noticed over the past week or so that my forum login, although set to last 600 minutes, will get disrupted/terminated/lost repeatedly throughout the day.

Anybody else having problems?

The same thing keeps happening to me. I seem to remember a posting by SParx saying they have installed a new version of the forum and the login issues are one of the consequences. I also seem to remember them saying this should be resolved shortly... :-)

Thanks Bruno.  Now that you mention it, I remember the posting too.

According to the folks at Yabb the login problem is erratic (seems to play havoc with forum admins more than with other users). We upgraded to the newest version of Yabb in order to make it more stable and secure.... It seems that the side effects are being a major topic for the creators of Yabb, we will continue to monitor the situation.

Btw: the 7-day-limit for the search has been re-introduced  :-/

Only a default 7 day limit though !

I usually type 999 (or now 777) anyway, unless I definitely want somthing recent.

This refers to an older (closed) issue. People not knowing of this constraint are not aware of a time limitation and do not receive results   To avoid confusion the time limit was left empty but after YABB upgrade it's preset with 7 again.
