Enterprise Proyects Template
« on: December 16, 2004, 01:52:56 pm »
Hello all.

I need to start using EA, but still cannot see how I must organize my proyects using different  proyect roots.

The specific requirement I have is that I need to control proyects being developed simultaneosly to different areas into the organization (business, logistics, etc.) and some use cases need to be visible to more than one at the time, so I don't want to have case uses or requirement definitions all around de proyect tree.

If someone have some proyect templates to start you think may help me. Please send it to mperich  @c  oro na.cl  (without spaces ).

Thanks a lot.

Marko

We work with XMI packages for enything that needs to be seen or used in diferent projects.
you can make a package for you usecases (for example) and import it to all your other projects.

I woudn't advise to menage more than one project per EAP file.
