Messing with the Project Structure
« on: January 12, 2005, 06:14:15 am »
I'm evaluating EA and one big thing I've learned is that EA will allow me to draw any element or connection type on any type of diagram,  BUT one should not do that because the behavior of those elements, in some cases, are specifically designed for specific diagram types and, when used in other diagram types, the element's behavior. will be inappropriate for that diagram type. Examples of this are the "Association" and "Message" elements.

Focusing now on the Project Browser, I see that EA allows me to define new views, packages, etc. and I'm also allowed to change the order of their appearance.  Are there also reasons why one should not do these things?
Verbal Use Cases aren't worth the paper they are written upon.
