Need help with connectors

I need nice clean connectors at 90 degree angles.  I need the ability to adjust the bend points so things line up.  

Dealing with the EA connectors is PAINFUL!!   The whole line wants to move.  I can't specify intermediate points as I drag.

Is there a way to make them work like Visio?  Is there a trick to these things? How can I get these under control?

I'm not sure how they work in Visio but...

Try holding Ctrl down when you click on a connector.  It will create an intermediate point at that point.

Can do the same thing in the context menu for the connector by selecting "Toggle Line Point at Cursor".

You may also find the "Pin Connection Point" options to pin the start or end points useful. Or set the line style to "Auto Routing".
