Set Feature Visibility - All
« on: July 27, 2007, 12:16:40 am »
Hi.
I've got another question. I've got a lot of tables where I need to hide 3 columns / attributes. They've got all the same name. CColumn1, DColumn2, DColumn2 for example. Now i want to iterate all my DiagramObjects and hide these. Is this possible or do I have to hide them all manually over Set Feature Visibility?

greets Daniel

Perhaps you can accomplish this by setting the visibility of the columns to Private. Then use the various options dialogs to: hide visibility indicators (to avoid misinterpretation of the remaining visibility settings), and to show all attributes except those which are Private.

This will accomplish what you want, at least as far as how diagrams look. However, remember that you've also modified the semantics of your model, and may have to accommodate that later.

No, you can't have it!
