"unrecognized database format"
« on: March 21, 2005, 10:50:04 am »
Hi, am trying to reverse engineer an access database.  I set up an ODBC reference and I can get the list of tables in EA but when I try to import I get the message unrecognized database format "<name of file>"

If you are importing from Access 2000 or higher, you need to set the Jet 4 option. Go to Tools | Options | General and check the USE JET 4.0 checkbox. You will need to restart EA for the change to take effect.
