Multiple Users Working on Same Project
« on: April 11, 2005, 12:36:16 pm »
Hi,

I am working on a EA project where multiple users are accessing the same project file at the same time. The documentation says that

"Note that some project views (especially the Project Browser) will require occasional refreshing to see changes made by other users."

So how does one do this "refresh"?  I don't see a button or anything for it.

TIA,
Rich

Right-click on the diagram's tab (on the bottom), and you have an option to Reload 'diagram name'.
Correctness is clearly the prime quality. If a system does not do what it is supposed to do, then everything else about it matters little. - Bertrand Meyer

OK thanks, that solves part of the problem.  I am more interested in updating packages and the entire project to get all changes made by other users.

For example, if another user adds diagrams to a package, they don't automatically show up.  I have to close the project and re-open it to see the changes.
